There are 6 workshops (4 for children, 2 for adults) being offered the week of July 2-6. Click on the links below for information about each workshop. All workshops will be held at the Rotary Hall, 59 Main St., Lion’s Head.
The workshops are all being run by local artists, members of the Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists (see brucepeninsulaart.ca for more). There will also be a number of volunteers helping out at each workshop. Workshop artists for the week:
- Nicole Gamble and Brenda Kerton – Bubble Art
- Nicole Gamble – Baking Soda Ocean Art
- Brenda Kerton – Scallop Shell Doodles
- Jan Mackie – Wood Images
Generally the workshops will accommodate 15-20 children. Each of the pages on this site allow you to get to the registration. We do require that 1 adult per child/family stay for the workshop. The accompanying adult is most welcome to join in (no registration required). Cost is $5 per child per workshop, payable at the workshop.
- Nicole Gamble – Aromatherapy Gemstone Bracelets
- Laura Banks – Painted Tote Bags
These workshops will accommodate up to 25 people. Each of the pages on this site allow you to get to the registration. Cost is $25 per person, payable at the workshop.
Supplies are included with all workshops.
Workshops run Monday through Thursday. Friday at 1pm we will have an exhibit of some of the works produced during the workshops. The exhibit will be open to everyone, no registration required. If you are local or going to be in the area for the week and can leave a piece of created artwork for the show, we would love to include it. We will also take many photographs during the week and create a slideshow of the workshops in action and many of the created pieces.
