Workshop Information

There are 4 workshops (each offered twice) the week of July 1-5. Click on the links below for information about each workshop. All workshops will be held at the Rotary Hall, 59 Main St., Lion’s Head.

The workshops are all being run by local artists, members of the Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists (see brucepeninsulaart.ca for more). There will also be a number of volunteers helping out at each workshop. Workshop artists for the week:

For Children:

  • Leslie Conway – Origami
  • Nicole Gamble – Clay Leaf Bowls
  • Brenda Kerton – Doodle or Dot Mandala Magnets & Coasters
  • Laura Banks – Guided Painting

Generally the workshops will accommodate 15-20 children. Each of the pages on this site allow you to get to the registration. We do require that 1 adult per child/family stay for the workshop. The accompanying adult is most welcome to join in (no registration required). Cost is $5 per child per workshop, payable at the workshop.

Supplies are included with all workshops.

Workshops run Monday through Thursday. Friday at 1pm we will have an exhibit of some of the works produced during the workshops. The exhibit will be open to everyone, no registration required. If you are local or going to be in the area for the week and can leave a piece of created artwork for the show, we would love to include it.
